Gwen moved to Alaska in July 2019, and now she has two jobs! Not only is she a finished AKC champion, she is also a hardworking sled dog. Gwen spent her first winter in Alaska running on our 8-dog team and qualifying for SD miles. She made her Alaskan ring debut in August 2020 at the Siberian Husky Club of Anchorage, AK, where she won Best of Opposite Sex in Sleddog Sweepstakes under breeder-judge Brian Palmer; and Best Sled Dog, and Select Bitch under breeder-judge Anne Palmer. Gwen is a stunner and a sweetheart, and we love having her here.
After taking a year off to have a litter, Gwen came back to the SHCAA specialties in 2022 where she was award Best in Specialty Show by breeder-judge Lynn Dagan!
Gwen finished her Grand Championship in November 2022.
Gwen is named for Sigourney Weaver's character in the movie Galaxy Quest.
