June...
17-19: Judge Edd Bivin awarded Elphie BOB/BOW/WB over 3 specials on the first day of the Blackfoot shows! Unfortunately, we were 1 dog short of the major...but it was still quite a compliment! On Day Two, Malcolm received a final point to finish his championship! The following day, he was awarded BOB by Faye Strauss (special thanks to KellyBob Boyd for her handling skills!), and managed not to make me look like an idiot in the group ring. :)

22/23: On Saturday, Elphie was BOB/BOW/WB over two specials for 2 more points! She also went BBE Group III, and now needs only a major to finish. Our new puppies Shazam and Bella also had a great weekend: Zam was RWD both days, and Bella was RWB on the day she was entered (thank you Maren for handling her to her win! :).
8: Elphie picked up another point at the Intermountain Kennel Club shows, going WB/BOW/BOS under judge Kim Meredith-Cavanna.

Sunset would like to congratulate her grandkids, Ella and Summit (bred by Sherri Del Pozo - Karamad), on an incredible spring from the 6-9 puppy class! Both puppies are now pointed, and Summit even has a BOB to his credit! Go babies, Go!

6-7: Two great days in Scottsdale, AZ! On Saturday, Malcolm was judge Sharon Smith's choice for his second major. Mal now only needs a single point to finish! On Sunday, Leroy took his 3rd major to finish his championship, and Elphie was WB/BOW for a major, as well. Thank you, judge James Reynolds!
February...
12-14: Wow! Leroy was RWD at the Lower Columbia Siberian Husky Club specialty. He went on to take back-to-back 4-point majors at the Linn Co. KC shows the next 2 days! See more new photos on his web page!
That same weekend, Elphie was Best Bred-by Exhibitor in breed from a huge BBE bitch class. Malcolm also won a nice BBE dog class on Sunday.

Aura's litter is 8 weeks old! Ginger (now Bella) will be staying with us, and Bogie (now Shazam) will be living with our good friend Maren on a co-ownership.
