Sunset at 10 years old

Sunset began her show career at just a few days over 6 months old, with a four-point major win her first time in the ring! In April of 2000, Sunset placed first in an extremely competitive Open Bitch class at the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club Specialty. After taking some time off to whelp a beautiful litter for us in 2003, she finished her championship that fall.
Sunset ran lead for us for many years, often alongside her daughter, Aura. She was bred a final time in 2006, producing Junior and Sassy. She is now spayed, retired, and Queen of the Dogyard.
Sunset's breeding combines the lines of two dogs who have greatly influenced our breeding program: her father Am/Can Ch. Tamerlane's Carpe Diem CD, CGC, and her maternal grandfather, Ch. Aadak's Heres Lookinatcha Kid.
